Good Afternoon
Having had a look at the section that you have been charged under it says that you must be driving on a road.
If you wish to challenge it you need to provide evidence that it was not a road.
here is the relevant section for you.

If you can get documentation from the department of roads that it is not a designated road you may be able to avoid the conviction.
It is a matter that you should speak to a Solicitor about and if possible have them deal with the police before the court date and see if they can withdraw it before having to go for a hearing.
It will be cheaper in the long run for you.
I suspect what they have given you is to show that the courts have held that what is not a designated road was a road when it came to a court decision.
