My son is 3 years old and weve had terrible orders in place…

<p>My son is 3 years old and we've had terrible orders in place for just over one year.We had interim orders for about 6 months. I left my ex-husband almost 2.5yrs ago and have been struggling ever since.  He refused to move out of the marital home and said he'd "take me all the way", which he did!</p><p> The orders are around my ex-husbands shift work. He started off with 3 nights per fornight plus day visits for 1yr and since Calebs 3rd birthday in November currently gets 5 nights per fortnight. The magistrate ignored the emotional abuse I suffered. My son (and myself) have not settled into the orders at any time and he comes back from his father each time saying he "lost mummy", "cried because he missed mummy" and so on. He displays aggressive behaviour for short periods. I have followed pyschological advice and have been told by a number of professional people that I will not be able to co-parent with this man, who is narcisstic, controlling and manipulative. I'm extremely worried for my son as he "wants to stay with Mummy for a long time". I had a terrible time through the family law courts, with costs being awarded against me against all odds. We don't have proper communication as I am always wrong and whenever I brought things up I would get "Caleb doesn't do that with me" and so on. I was advised to keep everything business like, which I have done. I get regular emails from Calebs father, the latest wanting to put him into pre-prep.The emails are aimed at continually trying to upset and control me. My pyschologist believes he wants to punish me for leaving him and that he's continually trying to diminish my self-worth. My son is just a pawn in his game playing.Last November my Grandmother passed away in NZ.  My ex-husband agreed to our travel plans and even dropped Caleb off to the airport but  hadn't lifted the stop off Caleb's passport. Legally the stop was to be lifted over a year ago. He had made threats that I could have trouble with immigration, which I did.  Fortunately we got home.This is just to demonstrate the type of man he is.  Womens legal acknowledged his threats and intimidation but I've been left hanging.  He is trying to isolate me from my family and make travel (and life!) difficult and I feel like a parent on a good behaviour bond with my son suffering.  Caleb will not greet his father and wants to hide and play when he arrives, he turns his head away when his father tries to kiss him and reaches out for me. I'm not trying to keep him away from his father but I feel he is intimidated and is affected being away from me as his primary attachment. My GP, pyschologist and paediatrician can see it but my case appears to be too complicated for the legal system. I don't accept that as it is my sons emotional health at stake, not to mention mine as his mother. I've received no respect from the law courts or Calebs father. I was disappointed with my previous lawyer and womens legal seem too snowed under to help so I'm at a loss as to where to turn. Please help.  What are my options?</p>
