Under Australian law you are entitled but I cannot advise you under Thai Law.
Australian Courts do not have any jurisdiction in Thailand and you would need to go there to do anything.
You will need to contact a Solicitor in Thailand and see whether defacto relationships are recognised there.
If not then the only suggestion would be to sue him to have any money you gave him back as a debt.

If his assets are in Thailand and he has nothing in Australia the Thai law applies.
Australian courts can only enforce orders here in Australia. Any order for Thai property cannot be enforced in Thailand by an Australian Court.
