Yes, so long as you do not work in excess of 20 hours a week. If the business is already registered and paying taxes in your home country, then it would be best to keep it registered there and avoid registering it in Australia by obtaining an ABN.
As long as you are not working more than 20 hours a week, then you are not going to have a problem. If you go above this, then your visa could be cancelled.

Not quite. Its where you earned the money that matters. If you earned it in Switzerland but it got deposited into your Australian account, then the Swiss government would be entitled to the taxes on it, not the Australian government.
