If the orders were final orders and not interim orders, then I am afraid so.
The orders allowing you only supervised contact time would remain in place indefinitely unless you see a lawyer and recommence the process - pretty much from scratch.
In order to get a different result, you will also need some clear proof to show the judge to convince him/her that the child is not, and will not be, in danger when in your care.

Yes, that is correct - but the greater burden is on your daughter here because if they can't agree - and the father then doesn't come to see the child at all, should the father then apply to the Court for further orders, it will have the appearance of your daughter blocking contact.
Unfortunately, that means generally your daughter needs to be the one who is more flexible here, and she should put her offers to him for access times in written form and send by Australia Post requiring his signature (obviously she needs to keep copies of these letters). That way if worse comes to worse, she can show the judge that she made offers of contact time available, but they were never accepted.
