Australian Immigration Department will not discriminate on the basis of an age difference between spouses, everyone will go through the same process whereby you will either make an application to bring wife and child into Australia on a spouse visa as long as you can meet the usual criteria of satisfying the relationship test (together for at least a year before the application can be considered) and that the character, health and other requirements are met.
