It is possible that the defence of provacation may be open to you, but you are going to have to retain a lawyer to defend against the charges. Your lawyer will then be able to request the charge sheet from the police prosecutor and he will see what charges in particular you are being charged with and what defences are open to you.
From the sounds of it, provocation is your best bet at this point in time - but ultimately this will be a strategic matter that you are going to have to discuss further with your lawyer, especially if you decide to fight the charge.
