I went to the shopping center and met my mother there , she had done some shopping and asked me to take them home for her because she was going to catch the bus home and they were heavy . So I put them in a trolley . Later on I entered woolies to buy groceries . After I paid for my items and was leaving the store person stopped me and said I had some items I did not pay for . They then took out the meats which my mother had given me . I told them my mother had already paid for them but I did not have the receipt . So they asked me to pay for them and I agreed , saying that I would ask my mother for the receipt when I get home . But when I got home and asked my mother she did not have the receipt and she could not remember whether she paid for them or not , she is old and had head injuries At the store they recorded my name and address and my registration number Now my question is will they want to charge my mother with theft ?
