136
Expert:  Appliance Guru replied 2 months ago.

The 136 fault is 'motor stall error. Often this is a broken wire to the motor or something jammed in the unit. See if the inner tub spins freely by hand, if it does check the wiring to the motor. It could also be a Motor failure or Rotary Position Sensor problem as well. Water damage can cause this fault as well so tip the unit up and visually check the stator for any water damage or signs of brownish fluid leaking. After a visual check for broken wires or water damage, and if your machine is in good condition, you should consider a tech as this is a more complicated repair.
