Just replaced the selni pump on my GW709NZ smart drive, but

Customer Question

just replaced the selni pump on my GW709NZ smart drive, but the motor is turning very slowly, and turning off on thermal overload
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: pump stopped working last week, procured a new pump and attached a few minutes ago - tried in test mode, and with water
JA: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: I cleared a blockage in the pump 6 months ago, and found the out of balance switch to be broken, which I repaired and it has been fine until recently
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: if I can
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I had a technician look at it 6 months ago, he suggested that the machine was old, and probably the control was not working - I found the out of balance switch holder was fractured, which I glued back together

Hi

Sorry for the delay in getting to your question.

When the motor was running slow what was in there at the time?

Have you tried it empty to see if it works ok then?

Regards
