Customer Question

Hi , my fridge won't stop beeping..... It's driving me insane! Thanks
JA: What's the make and model of the fridge? And can you guesstimate how old is it?
Customer: Fisher and paykel...... model E450
JA: What are all the symptoms of the problem (error codes, flashing lights, etc.)?
Customer: Just a beeping....... when you open the fridge door and close it, it beeps 3 times in succession, then stops for a minute, then it does the same again
JA: What happened just before this problem started? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: It just happened out of the blue
JA: Anything else you want the appliance expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not at this stage thanks, ***** ***** know how to stop the beeping.

  • The refrigerator is designed to beep if the doors are left open too long or the temperature is too high. If the doors are closed and the temperatures are okay, the main electronic control is having issues. Unplug the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to reset the electronics. Any change when plugged back in?
