Hi, welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! The pressure switch "sees" a water level that is telling the control it is too full, initiating immediate draining. Is there water in the tub?

Customer: replied 2 years ago.
No. Though it tried to push it through the hot water tap (which I keep off) and it blew the hose off
Expert:  Kelly replied 2 years ago.

The hot inlet hose was blown off of the valve?

Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I have to keep it turned off at the power point in the wall othe
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Otherwise it just keeps running
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Thanks Kelly
Is this something we can do ourselves?
Expert:  Kelly replied 2 years ago.

Yes, it is very easy to replace, all connections simply unplug and plug in. A less expensive alternate source is below.

any idea on what or how it happened? Or just a fault?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Does the power issue indicate that this is what's wrong?
Expert:  Kelly replied 2 years ago.

An issue with the electronics, it is the most common failure. On this machine, the pressure switch circuit is all part of that main control. It controls every function in the machine.
