May I ask with whom I am speaking today?
If you mean the check engine light isn't coming on for the 'bulb' test that happens on 1st key-on
then I'd say to try and induce a fault by disconnecting an engine sensor and briefly run the engine to see if it then comes on

I'd suggest to try disconnecting the engine coolant sensor on the end of the engine ( see image)
this should turn on the check engine light
