Customer: No I don't know anything about cars! Lol so not tried anything just looked up what light meant

Ok thanks. There are many things that cause that light to turn on. It generally means there is an emissions related concern that the computer has detected. What you need to do is to have the engine computer scanned for fault codes that will be stored. You can do this by purchasing your scan tool, or most auto part stores will scan the computer for free for you and give you the code. That is where you need to start to get an idea of what could be wrong.
