Customer Question

I was trying to fix my upgraded cd radio into my 2000 forester a nd now i have lost my central locking on all doors can you assist please.
JA: Is this an aftermarket stereo, or did it come with the car?
Customer: After market stereo
JA: Are you fixing your Forester yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have wires everywhere as i have just purchased it a week ago. So i am trying to fix up myself as i am an aged pensioner,
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If the problem is related to replacing the radio then I would first suspect that a fuse has blown. If either of the power feeds to the radio had shorted to ground then it would have blown a fuse.

Have you checked all fuses?
