when engine is started when hot, ,only one electric radiator cooling fan operates. should it be both?engine is ecotec vy series commodore
JA: Has the car been overheating? Have you checked the fuses?
Customer: yes in 37degree Celsius heat. have not checked fuses should they operate in unison
JA: What year is your Commodore?
Customer: vy series 2
JA: Are you fixing your Commodore yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: nothing really. I noticed a pool of green water after parking the seemed excessive and was under the radiator area on the ground what about the 2 fan question

Hi Im David, when engine is started hot only one fan should come on. the other comes on when the ac is turned on. if the vehicle is over heating and there is coolant on the ground you need to have the system pressure tested to see where the leak is, befor you do major damage to your engine.
