I have a holden captiva and want to know if it has a drain for the fuel tank
JA: Has the vehicle turned into a gas hog? And how does it start -- same as usual?
Customer: No, I need to drain the tank as put petrol in instead of diesel
JA: What year is your Captiva?
Customer: 2008
JA: Are you fixing your Captiva yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: haven't tried anything yet, just know that I have to empty the tank

I have done this many many times on Captiva.

No they do not have a drain plug.

If you run the car, you will need to change the fuel filter as well.

The tank is accessed under the back seat.

The primary and secondary fuel senders need to come out to suck all the fuel out.

If too hard for you, then get the car towed to a Holden dealer.
