I have lost my keys to my Toyota Corolla . have a spare key but no immobilizer,can i bypass the imobilizer ?
JA: Do you have a backup key? Maybe the emergency kind that fits in your wallet?
Customer: I only have a spare ignition key I got cut
JA: What year is your Corolla?
Customer: 1995
JA: Are you fixing your Corolla yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: We haven't tried anything rang NRMA SAID THEY CAN'T DO MUCH as I am fronm South Australia
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: We believe it is a factory fitted mobilizer BYPASSED AS HAVE A KEY

Hello and welcome to just answer. I value your input to my questions so I may help you better. If this is a factory mobilizer then you cannot bypass it unless you totally remove all it's components and reconnect all the original connectors.Also if you lost the master key you cannot program any new keys to that ECU and therefore you will have to also replace that ECU The only way around that heavy expense is to find a used one with the master key that goes with it.Hope this helps you make your decision more clearer.
