The car is dead & we are not able to open the back trunk with the manual key
JA: Have you tried silicone spray or WD-40?
Customer: Yes, the key turns but the boot will not open
JA: What is the model/year of your Mercedes?
Customer: 2005 CLS 500
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: We can open all doors & the bonnet
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: We called RACV but they could not access the boot either. They asked if there is any other jump points in the car besides the boot

On the right hand shock tower area there is a jump point hook up a battery charger on 10 amp for 60 minutes, this will charge the battery and should be enough surface charge even if the battery is dead and in need of replacement. This is under the bonnet

It is not under the bonnet and the car couldn't be started- it had to be towed on a trailer to the workshop. Obvoiusly the CLS 500 Mercedes has NO JUMP POINTS under the Bonnet. The Answer was not useful. Thanks
