Have a 2002 bora & the automatic transmission is slipping between 1st & 2nd.
JA: How many miles are on the car? Is it the original transmission?
Customer: 150,000km
JA: What is the model of your '02 VW?
Customer: Bora V5 has the 5sp automatic transmission
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Nothing just bought the car! as I have another bora which has 160,000km,same car 2003 model & that one doesn't select reverse,

If it slips only at one shift point that would almost surely indicate clutch leakage or clutch failure. Odds are the transmission will either need to be replaced or disassembled for inspection and rebuild.
