You may have a few things going on. It's possible that you could have a transmission issue but would first suspect brake drag on one or more wheels. Brake drag could be a caliper, hose, broken pad or show or possibly a master cylinder issue.

Are you able to raise and support the vehicle with all four wheels off the ground and try to spin each by hand?
