I was just wondering where the Hold button is in a 98 ford laser glxi? Mine came on and I don't know what I pressed
JA: What year is your Laser? Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: 1998. Yes I want to fix it myself. I have tried checking gears, handbreak and indicators. I just don't know where the button is to turn it off
JA: How many miles are on the car? Have you noticed any fluid leaks lately?
Customer: 229000. No fluid leaks it recently had a service
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: No that's all just the hold button

Hi ,the 'hold' button is common to 90's mazdas(and ford clones of mazda models). The button to activate it is a small one , either directly under the the release button on the t-bar (gear selector), or will be a small button adjacent to the t-bar (where the p-r-n-d-2-1 window is) glad to help ,stew
