Customer Question

2010 mazda sp25 manul abs and traction control light is on but no codes

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer! There are two reasons the ABS and traction control lights will come on.If the ABS module sees an issue somewhere in the system that will prevent proper operation it will set a fault code and turn the lights on.Second would be if the ABS module wasn't communicating on the bus network. If it doesn't communicate then the instrument cluster will turn the ABS light on, but either way there are still going to be fault codes stored in other modules due to the lack of communication. One way or another, there are fault codes stored in at least one module.I'm assuming the reason you didn't find any codes was an equipment issue. What was the brand and model of what you used to check for codes?

Does it have a menu to pick what module you want to communicate with?
