2008 diesel Captiva wont start sometimes apparently there is a problem with the fuel pump in the tank, any ideas about how much they cost to replace

Hi there,I have replaced many fuel pumps in Captiva.The quote would be about 2 hrs plus price of MRA (fuel pump/sender assembly).Labour at $135 = $270 + about $350 for pump = $620Price could be different now, haven't done one for about 5 months.I would get the vehicle scanned for codes first, unless this has already been done, and diagnosis suggests to replace the pump.Gary
