Hello and welcome to JustAnswer! How the problem will be repaired depends on what is causing the issue. I'm assuming that engine power is being reduced - limp in.There are many things that will cause the engine to go into limp in. Improper cam timing or a loss of cam sensor signal can cause it, but the problem is likely related to electronic throttle control. An issue with the accelerator pedal position sensor throttle body, wiring, or a perceived vacuum leak or intake restriction will also cause it.If the engine is going into limp in it's because the engine controller is seeing an issue that will prevent proper operation and is setting a fault code. The first step in diagnosing the problem will be to use a scan tool or code reader to see what fault codes are setting, and then testing can be done based on that.
