Hi Mark,

VZ V6, could be many reasons why it won't start.

Might be have no fuel pressure (fuel pump failure), broken timing chain, no crank sensor input, blown fuses for injectors, etc etc.

Can you tell me how many kilometres, and service history?

Hi Mark,

That doesn't sound good.

I would say you need a mechanic to look at it for you.

I've had VZ/VEs with one broken timing chain that causes a no start condition.

I would not muck around, go straight for a compression test.

Do you have a local mechanic who can do that for you?

Hi Mark,

Sorry I can't be of more help for now.

Let me know once you have some more info.

If the engine cranks at uneven speed eg: fast then slow, then fast then slow etc, it shows compression loss, generally valves not seating from carbon buildup or bent from timing chain failure.

If it was noisy in the timing case area, then I'd say that is where your problem lies.

At 210000km I'd think about another engine, if it has had a large failure.
