Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

You may have quite a few things going on but if it runs otherwise correctly and dies when coming to a stop only with the trans in gear then I would first suspect the torque converter clutch is coming on. If the converter clutch comes on at a stop then it will drag the engine down quickly and kill it with the same feel as not pressing the clutch on a manual trans.

Have you checked for fault codes?

Does it feel like the engine is being dragged down?
