Customer Question

G'day, I have a 3.0L Turbo Patrol 2004 which will run good and all of a sudden it will starve for fuel and will not pull the hat off your head. I have new filters on it and does not make a difference. New maf sensor as well.

Hi there,
Assuming it's not cutting out completely, you might like to consider either replacing or cleaning out the Electronic throttle unit on the the pedal assembly - you've picked the MAF sensor well - that's the most common failure. Second in line is the TPS, which is on the pedal.
They can be dismantled for cleaning, but the housing will need to be glued back together with urethane or similar, as theyr'e riveted together ex factory..
I hope this helps!
