Oil is pouring out of a tube just below oil filter on a 2008

Customer Question

Oil is pouring out of a tube just below oil filter on a 2008 nissan patrol wagon 3L common rail engine. This was after an oil change. This leak began imediately after the engine started.

If you have a cartridge type filter then the oil cooler under the filter has two hoses goint to and from the oil cooler this could be the problem area.
But you said you have the 2008 .
If this is the case you have a element filter and the cause of leak could be that the "O"ring seal for the filter case was not fitted correctly causing the oil leak .
