Volkswagen Golf 5F: Danny,I have a 2005 VW GOlf MK 5F.

Customer Question

Hi Danny,
I have a 2005 VW GOlf MK 5F. We are having issues with the Central locking. Both keys work manually but only intermittently using the remote control. The Drivers door will not lock with the remote nor will the L/H rear but that's not every time. The actuators all work manually and using the central locking switch inside the door. The keys have good batteries and work fine otherwise. What would you suggest?

My name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I noticed that your question was not getting a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.
I apologize as my info is limited on this model here.
From what you have described here this sounds like an internal electrical fault with the remote control door lock receiver or an issue with a body control computer as any one of these acting up can cause this fault here.
I would have this checked/tested further to pinpoint and repair the fault.
Thanks Pete
