Hi Glen,I work for Holden. Is your engine an SIDI? If so, they are prone to carbon buildup in the heads from no fuel to keep the valves clean. Either style of V6 is also prone to timing chain stretch, which puts the engine light on. There are a few common causes for engine light as well. Oil pressure switch, cat convertor efficiency, O2 and purge solenoid.Brake shudder front and rear, noisy rear wheel bearings, ABS warning light on (wheel speed sensors or harness in the rear).They are a good car if maintained well.Hope this helps with your decision.If you need any more help, just ask.Gary
