Hi there,For whatever may be wrong with your engine, it would still be more economical financially to stay with the current engine configuration.Your engine would be a C14NZ?To change to any other Opel based engine, would require the transmission, all of the wiring for the engine, donor engine ECM, which would NOT link to the immobiliser etc.Can you see that is why I would stay with your original engine?Hope this helps with your decision.Please ask if you need any further assistance.Gary
