E270cdi: have Mercedes Benz E270CDI 6/2000. Engine hunting

Hi have Mercedes Benz E270CDI 6/2000. Engine hunting at idle when cold. Took vehicle to Mercedes Benz Shop they replaced all 5 injectors and injector pump. Seamed ok for a couple of days then starting hunting again on start up intill engine is warm. Doesn't effect performance at all just really annoying. Mercedes Benz workshop are stumped and don't know where to go next with this.

If they haven't checked to see if the engine coolant temp sensor is sending a false signal when cold this can cause this fault here.I have had to replace engine coolant temp sensors before for this issue here.

Yes they checked the coolant temp sender that sends a signal to control unit and also have replaced thermostat because was taken a very long time to get operation temperature. Now gets to operation temp quickly and makes the heaters work quicker.

If they have not checked for any vacuum leaks on the engine this needs done.If a vacuum leak is present it will need repaired to correct this fault here.
