Hi .

I hope you had this done at a good repair shop that warranties his work as you will have to get this back to the shop as the work has nor been carried out correctly ..

Have the timing belt marks checked .

The tappets will tap if the oil level is low , if after topping up the oil level and still taps
then the following causes are possible .
Dirty tappets .
Bad tappets .
Oil pressure low .
Tappet not bleed.

Check engine light "ON"..
Need to get hooked up to a diagnostic scan tool and check for malfunction codes ,
Most probably have misfire codes ??

You should get back to the shop and ask them these question and do the diagnostic .

Please get back to me with the reply button and not the poor or bad service rating , so i can get back to you with further assistance with this issue or offer assistance with another expert .
