I see that you don't believe that it's a fuel or electrical problem so I'm assuming you've verified spark and injector pulse are present.
If you have spark and fuel but the engine doesn't start then it may be a mechanical issue. If cam timing is incorrect or the the cam isn't turning due to a broken belt or chain then it will prevent starting but that will often also cause a loss of spark.
If the fuel is contaminated it can cause a no start condition.
Another common cause of a crank/no start condition is a restricted catalytic converter. If the converter material breaks up and the pieces block the outlet then it can cause a no start condition.
