Good Morning , I have...
Good Morning , I have a ford telstra TX5/mazda(NNN) NNN-NNNN2.2 ltr model, I am having trouble with the auto transmission, When driving the hold light is flashing and it does not go into drive, this Auto was taken out of a 626 and it was working fine,my previuos auto was doing the same thing,computer has also been changed but this had no effect,have I wasted $1500 at my local mechanic or can this be resolved?

Hi, it's Glenn here, I can help you with your question.
The hold light flashes to indicate a malfunction in the transmission's electronic control system. Do you know if it was the transmission computer that was replaced or the engine computer? Do you know if your mechanic has carried out a fault code check for the transmission, and also when drive is selected does the "D" indicator on the dash light up?
