I have just bought a used, 1992 Toyota Starlet GT - an import. When driving it home a couple of the instrument panel

Customer: Hi there. I have just bought a used, 1992 Toyota Starlet GT - an import. When driving it home a couple of the instrument panel warning lights started to flicker on/off/stay on/off.
They are the image of the battery and the image of the catalytic converter (I think) right next to the battery image.
The car kept going well but, what do these warnings tell me ???

Hello there
I think you should look at these lights sepratley
Firstly i would have the alternator tested and the belt checked along with the associating wiring to make sure the alternator is not faulting.
did the light look like this one here

In most cases if you have a power fluctuation issue there is a large potential for other lights and components to fault
