Customer Question

p0345 camshaft position sensor A circuit (bank 2)
So I am receiving this code and my car is running really crappy I bought the sensor but I am finding conflicting information on where exactly its located, I followed the video below and replaced it but the car ran even worse so I put the old one back...I found info saying its different places and I just need to know where it is for sure.

Bank 2 is drivers side and intake would be on intake side of head "#1 in picture". Let me know if you have questions, thanks.

Hi I replaced this sensor and..code still wouldn't go away, cleared it, it came back...figured bad sensor...took it back got a new one...same deal...I switched the 2 cam sensors on bank 2 (shoulda done this before I bought a new one) and same thing...code remained the add on car started running really rough...misfire on the whole of bank 2 (4,5,6)..switched coils and still the same... all misfiring and now P0021 Intake(A) Camshaft position timing - over-advanced (bank 2) popped up..
I really have no idea where to go from here or what I should be looking for or at so any suggestions would be appreciated.

If that didn't help I suspect the timing has jumped.

Customer: replied 7 months ago. I cleared the codes..I've driven maybe about 50 miles... P0021 did not come back yet..P0345 and cylinder misfires are all that came back..
Car is driving ok but at stops it putters almost like its about to die..revs -800..then it kinda surges up between -800 - 1200 rpm..any other options I could rule put before we conclude on timing?
