2011 Audi A3 TDI - A/C recently fully recharged and both

Customer Question

2011 Audi A3 TDI - A/C recently fully recharged and both cooling fans replaced. A/C still does not get cold and now going into winter when you turn on heat only drivers side vents blow warm and passenger vents remain cold regardless of temperature settings.

That sounds to me like the temp flap motor is not adjusting the flap properly possibly a failed motor. You could scan the HVAC system for faults if you have a scan tool available that can read more than just the engine module.

Or you can lay under the passenger side of the dash, take some of the covers off, and operate the temp controls, watching the motor to see if it moves.
