Audi A6 Quattro 3.2: . I have a 2005 Audi a6 Quattro 3.2.

Customer Question

Hi. I have a 2005 Audi a6 Quattro 3.2. When I put my key in to turn the car, the panel states "safe." Im guessing the chip/coder in my key is malfunctioning. I have a spare. But the malfunctioning key is stuck in the ignition. What should I do?

Hello, my name is***** may be occurring if the engine battery is low. See if jumping the car helps. If not then remove the negative battery cable and see if the key will come out. Also check the shifter. If it is not all of the way in park this will occur too. Let me know if you need more help.
