VerifiedThanks for reaching out again. I remember you initially stated this mirror was from the Vinoy Hotel, if it is, that would date the mirror to the 1920s, the hotel was built in 1925. It is a very unique design and seems to have a mixture of elements from various styles. For example, straight lines and square shape are very Eastlake style and the scroll and floral elements are Victorian. As for the 'face' at the top, I would say it is a whimsical happenstance. The fruits and leaves come together to form a lions face. The nose, a pear, symbolizes happiness and harmony, ivy leaves are a symbol of wealth and peaches, the eyes, are a symbol of longevity. These elements all come together as a lion, a symbol of strength. Given the condition, size and history of the mirror it has a value of $4000 to $5000.
