In 1975 i was stationed at Ellisworth AFB lived in Rapid city Sd i use to play Pool at a huge pool hall in Rapid city i found a pool cue there that was the best stick i ever used so I asked the owner of the pool hall if i could buy the stick he looked at the stick & told me to give him the stick i gave him the stick he said he hadn't seen the stick in 35 years & told me Willie Hoppe had an exhibition there after the exhibition Willie Hoppe & his entourage stayed & drank & played pool all night in the morning he gave him his pool stick as a trophy & he stuck it it the rack & he never found it I found it by dumb luck he told me to just put it back after i was done with it well every time i went back i would ask him to sell me the stick eventually he sold me the stick & told me it would be worth a tremendous amount of money someday it is a costume made one piece finger laced pool cue personally made for Willie Hoppe with his signature I would like to get it appraised & varified
