Customer Question

We have a George Zee & Co kiln dried art coffee table (67 100407)
It is truly one of the most interesting tables I've ever seen.
It depicts a battle scene of sword fighting warriors that spans the entire table (aprox 4ft length) Its 3-4 dimension of detailed carving.
The legs appear to have a monkey gargoyle? on the bottom and appear to have been carved from one piece. The piece has been extremely well kept, not a scratch on it...that I could see. Although I do know for fact the glass has been replaced several times.
I can provide pictures if interested.

George Zee & Co of Hong Kong is a well-known cabinet-maker. Zee, a designer, has especially been known for his extensive creation of kiln dried teak furniture from the the 1920s to the present.
The carving on the top of your table is extraordinary, even for George Zee.
My research indicates your table has a retail vintage shop value of $3500-3800 assuming good condition.
As for where to sell - the internet has your widest pool of buyers. Sites like and sell higher end items, An ad on these sites might work well. There is a large Chinese community in San Francisco. An small ad in a newspaper there might work well, too. Your table will sell better in large cities such as New York and San Francisco for higher prices. Place your ads there and on the internet and your table should sell for full retail.
Caution - make sure the buyer chooses and pays for the shipper.
A private seller to a dealer can expect 40-60% of retail value.
I hope I have helped you.
