Customer Question

Okay I'm finally getting myself somewhat organized. I have an interesting piece for you with a fun provenance. It is an entertainment center that Magnavox asked Baker to make for a TV set they were selling to the Shah of Iran. We have used it for storage
as you'll see by the pictures. And my room is so crowded I hope you can see the piece in spite of all the stuff around and on it. Well, Baker made three of them and Magnavox gave my Mother-in-law one of them----this is it. Another member of the family who
worked for Mag. got one and the Shah received his with TV inside. Place for a phonograph also and on the other side is a speaker. Good luck. I'll get the pictures right now.

Hi Nadine,
What an interesting item with a great provenance! Pahlavi (Shah of Iran) items have a surprising following of collectors. They would like this, even though it's not the exact one he got.
Leave this with me and I'll have an answer for you as soon as I can.
Best wishes,

Can't wait for your reply. I also have a brass plate that was on the Shah's train. I'll get a picture to you. I know I probably overwhelmed you but I really have to begin weeding out and staging my house for sale. I know it will take over a year to sell so I have to start somewhere.
Nadine I am sending two more questions as a lady wants to buy these two platters and I have no idea of price. They don't seem to have any quite like them on Ebay.

That brass plate would be interesting too. It would pique the attention of both railroad and Shah of Iran collectors.
You haven't overwhelmed me in the slightest, I have a couple of questions I need to get out of the way and I'll be able to give my undivided. Starting with the platters.

I am having an argument with Just Answer again. So I couldn't get the platters pictures to you. Maybe they will iron out the problem tomorrow. One is an old Wedgwood one and one is a delft----both are blue and white meat platters with the dips for the juices.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Okay, I'll try to add them here----One has a chip on the bottom which doesn't show on top and one has some paint off around the edges. Well, here are the pictures. I'll explain my problem to you once they settle it.

Thanks for the photos of the meat platters. Will get a response to you on those first before I do the Magnavox, seeing as you have a potential customer waiting.
Back soon!

Thank you. I'm tempted to call---first time I've seen that offer. What do you think???
Expert:  Robert S. replied 2 years ago.
Not sure what the offer is.
As an independent agent they tell us nothing! As the customer, you get to see a different screen with all sorts of info about special offers and promotions that we are oblivious of.

It says "Rather talk than type? Switch to a live phone call with the Appraiser. See other ways this Appraiser can help." Shall we try it? Maybe tomorrow.
Expert:  Robert S. replied 2 years ago.
Sure! That would be fun!
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Okay I'll try tomorrow. Tonight a friend invited me over for low country boil and it was soooo good. So tomorrow we might meet in person. Wow great fun.
Expert:  Robert S. replied 2 years ago.
Look forward to it! (###) ###-####

I'll be here! Goodnight to you too.
