If you don’t know how to find out how much your antiques are worth, an online resource can be invaluable. Appraisers can be hard to find, and you don’t want to have to drive long distances, pay hefty fees and wonder whether you can trust the appraiser.
There are also times when discretion is invaluable, especially if you have a number of valuable pieces in your home. So whether you’re hoping to sell some of your antiques or collectibles, or simply need valuations for insurance purposes, it’s quick and easy to seek an online antique appraisal.
Fortunately, you can get honest, expert and discreet from the verified antiques Experts at JustAnswer, quickly and easily, from the comfort of your own home. Our Experts are available 24/7, and there are no large fees. You just pay a small price for the question you want to ask.
Wonderful service, prompt, efficient, and accurate. Couldn't have asked for more. I cannot thank you enough for your help.

When you consult with JustAnswer, the Experts will usually need to see good, clear photos of your piece. Take photos with a plain background in good light, and take them from every angle. If the piece has a signature, photograph that as well. Straight-on photos are best.
For example, if you’re photographing a piece of jewelry, lay it on a piece of plain white paper and shoot straight down over it. For a piece with a distinctive shape, such as a vase or a crystal wine glass, get a good shot from the side, not looking down at an angle.
For pottery and china, always take a photo of the bottom of the piece, whether you can see anything of interest there or not. When shooting furniture, photograph the front, back and sides, again shooting straight on, not at an angle, and include any manufacturer’s marks you see.
Measurements for all antiques can be important, so have the height, width and length of an antique handy for the Expert. When it comes to knowing which antiques are worth money, the more information you can give to your appraiser, the better.
