Ge washer model gtw460asj4ww water valve drips

Contractor's Assistant: Can you guesstimate how old your GE is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?

12 or 14 months

Contractor's Assistant: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?

Yes

Contractor's Assistant: Anything else we should know to help you best?

I purchased a new water valve but the hole in the center is larger than the old one looks like some sort of thermosat fits there

I don't know if this will work on your valve but on some you can swap the components from one valve body to another. The solenoids can be levered off and swapped and the centre of the valve which opens and closes to let the water pass can be unscrewed. Hopefully this could work for you.

There’s no pressure switch like that on this machine
Appliance Technician: Gavin, Home Appliance Technician replied 4 months ago

Some of them are located on the circuit board themselves. The diagram is not very clear and I've not worked on your specific model
