My name is Woody.
I`m sorry to hear that your having issues!
I will do my best to take the information that you provide to me and make a Diagnosis for you to be able to repair your own Appliance.
Please note it takes time to type and add links so please be patient. Also the site will send you a phone call offer, that is not me.

Just open the control panel and remove the wires off the buzzer and tape the ends of the wires so they can not short out on the chassis .

Do you have the dryer timer set to run ?

I do

Does having a push button start have anything to do with it?
Appliance Technician: Master Tech, Whirlpool Master Technician replied 7 months ago

ok then on this model your not going to be able to disengage the buzzer it is part of the drive motor starting circuit.

You might be able to muffel it with some tape to insulate the buzzing but you will not be able to remove it from the circuit.

Ok why didn't u tell me that in beginning. Not happy with your advice, did you even look model number, or just guessed?
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
Can I cut two black wires & tape them together?
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
I am very dissatisfied with woody, Alleged master tech, instead of looking up my information on my make to see if I could disconnect loud dryer buzzer, to which, at the end he said I could not, instead he told me to disconnect two black wires on buzzer behind control panel, to which I did only to find out, after I told him that I had a push button start, to which he stated Oh, ok, then you cannot disconnect the buzzer. I'm pissed because he let me take panel apart, disconnect wires, & I informed him dryer would not come on & it's a push start to run. He did not look up my make/model at first to keep me from doing all this unnecessary work on my part. I am requesting a refund of the $23.00 dollars please. Thanks
