I have a Jenn Air gas oven. There is a touchpad for controlling the oven that is being non-responsive. I threw the circuit breaker and then turned it back on after one minute, the touchpad display showed what I believe are "Error messages'. The codes were EE 214 and M 214. Can you provide me any information on what that means? Thanks

Model JGS 8750 Not sure of the year. possibly 2008 since thats when they did the kitchen reno

The model number I gave you is correct but the letters BDS at the end Thats all I have The tag showing the year is worn so I can't read it

To start, EE 214 and M 214 are just software boot up codes, this has nothing to do with an error message. Press and hold the BACK and ENTER buttons for 5 seconds together to see if the control panel unlocks in case it's locked. Other than that if nothing responds, your touch control panel has just failed. It's part number WPW10206074 and costs about $300-350 and will need to be replaced.
