JA: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: machine stopped and just flashes 'over flow'. only happened today
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: not if it is difficult. yes if I can

The washer has registered an overflow of water into the drain pan under the machine.
pull the washer out and remove the access panel in back and clean out the water... tilt it forward and let the water in the drain pan come out. ....put a towel down and soak up the water, then let it dry out...a fan will help dry it all.
