Need Appliance Repair Help? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Hello. My name is ***** ***** I'll be helping you with your appliance question today. Please wait a few moments while I review your question.
If the dryer heats in the beginning of the cycle but not later on, you have a bad contact inside the timer. Either the plastic cog is wearing down and not pushing the contacts hard enough in the timer or the contacts are just going bad. Either way, you'll need to order and replace the timer inside the control panel to resolve the issue. The cost is about $105 for the part I'm sorry to say. Below is a link to the part.
